1. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum data strictly required to deliver automated comment-to-DM services via the official Meta Graph API:

• Account Credentials: We never ask for, see, or store your Instagram password. Authentication is completed exclusively via Meta’s official OAuth 2.0 flow.
• Public Instagram Profile Data: Instagram Business Account ID, username, profile picture, and follower counts provided by Meta upon your authorization.
• Comment Events: When a user comments on your designated Instagram Reels, we receive webhook payloads containing the comment ID, comment text, commenter username, and timestamp to determine keyword triggers.
• Account & Automation Configuration: Custom keywords (e.g. your name, brand terms, or words like “LINK”), target destination URLs, custom DM templates, and automated response preferences saved by you in our Creator Studio.

2. How We Use Your Data

We process your data solely for the following functional purposes:

• Matching incoming Reel comments against your active trigger keywords in real-time.
• Delivering requested links and resources directly to commenters via private Instagram Direct Message.
• Delivering automated DM responses and requested links instantly when users comment on your posts.
• Preventing spam and duplicate message sends to the same user within 24 hours.
• Displaying analytics (DMs sent, delivery speed, conversion rates) in your personal Creator Studio.

3. Zero Data Sale & Third-Party Policy

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information, follower data, or comment logs to data brokers, advertisers, or any third party. Your data remains strictly between you, ReelDM, and the official Meta Graph API infrastructure.

4. Data Storage & Encryption

All data is processed on secure cloud servers using TLS 1.3 encryption in transit. OAuth access tokens are encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES encryption. Webhook payloads received from Meta are cryptographically verified using HMAC-SHA256 signatures before processing.

5. Data Retention & User Deletion Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

You maintain complete ownership of your data at all times:

• Instant Disconnect: You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time with one click from your Dashboard settings or via Facebook’s App Permissions manager.
• Data Purge: When an account is disconnected or deleted, all associated access tokens, automation rules, and log entries are permanently removed from our active database.
• Deletion Request: To request complete deletion of all records associated with your account, please email us at support@reeldm.space with subject “Data Deletion Request”. Requests are processed within 24 hours.

6. Meta Platform Compliance

ReelDM is designed and maintained to operate strictly within the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We employ natural jitter timing (0.5s–1.5s) to guarantee compliance with Instagram rate limits and ensure zero shadowban risk for creator profiles.
